MELBOURNE INTERIOR DESIGN CONSULTATION
Design Direction Session
A focused first step for when you're ready to move forward, but don't yet have clarity on how.
The house isn't working and something needs to change, that part's usually clear. What isn't clear is where to start. The decisions, the unknowns, and the fear of getting it wrong have kept everything sitting still.
This session is designed to change that.
In a dedicated 2-hour consultation, I work through your layout, functionality, materials, and overall direction with you, bringing structure to what currently feels unclear. This isn't about more ideas. It's about making the right decisions, in the right order.
WHO THIS IS FOR
You'll leave with:

Frequently Asked Questions
Booking a Design Direction Session comes with a few practical questions. Here are a few of the things clients commonly want to know before working with Lúrae Studio.
Your Questions, Answered
-
Photos or a floor plan, any measurements you already have, and a sense of your budget range all help, though nothing formal is required beforehand.
-
No. This works whether you're right at the start and still deciding what to do, or further along and stuck on specific decisions.
-
No. The $530 covers my time and expertise for the session itself, not a deposit toward future work. If you decide to move forward with a design package afterward, that's quoted separately based on the scope of the project.
-
This session is advice and direction only, a single consultation to help you get unstuck. Kitchen & Bathroom and Renovation & New Build are full design services, with documentation, specifications and tender support included. If you already know you want a fully resolved, builder-ready design, one of those is the better fit. If you're not sure yet and just need clarity on direction first, this session is the place to start.
-
If we need more time, it's charged pro rata based on the session rate, so you're only ever paying for the time actually used.
-
Yes. In-home sessions are for Melbourne, but the session works just as well over Zoom, so you don't need to be local to book one.
